What an amazing year 2017. Looking back… if I was to use one word to describe it, it would be Courage.Courage to face my fears, courage to look into and be in the darkness that very few would venture into (and can I blame them? I’d rather party in the light than hang out in the darkness), courage to even face the light and courage to be the beacon for it – for not only for self but for others too. Looking back at my experience with #PaintNite I’ve gained a few good lessons here and there but the most important one even as an artist wanting to make a mark and a difference in the world… is to be nothing but authentically yourself. .

Yes it’s very easy to be judged and criticized for who I am even in my own events but I find these judgements come and go and at the end of the day all that’s left is you. You and you alone. I remember a saying something to the effect of what others think of you is none of your business. Then there’s another saying that I can’t remember if it’s Byron Katie or Kathryn Hendricks… everyone loves me. If they don’t they are seriously misguided. Lol.

But as always I give space for people to choose. Love or hate me. At the end of the day, I get to choose ❤️. What an amazing and powerful we have… choice! What do you choose for 2018?

Here’s to an epic end to 2017 and a welcome with open arms filled with love to 2018!!
